Pretty PATTY was taken off the streets right in our own neighborhood! Our kindly 'Cat Lady' befriended her and took this young adult of 3-4 years (born in August of 2000) into her home after having watched out for her for the past 6 months. She was kind of scruffy when we got her, but she cleaned up nicely and now she is as pretty as can be - and as sweet as can be too! A plump puss at almost 11 lbs, this gal has got a lot of love to give and a mighty fine belly to rub too!! Patty is one of our shy girls, but she still likes attention. It takes her a bit to warm up to you, and she feels most secure in a cozy cat cubby, so if you have a quiet, safe environment to offer our girl, come take a peek and Patty! **UPDATE 7-2-04** Well today sure was the day for amazing news, as our ever so well-hidden Patty FINALLY took some GIANT steps out of her precious cubby and plopped herself underneath the couch in the living room! We are SO happy that she is finally feeling comfortable enough to roam!! **10-31-04** Patty is happy to celebrate halloween with us - she is sporting a new haircut and a snazzy collar too! **Update 3-05 - Patty is actually enjoying herself these days - she has her very own cubby next to the famous Red Cat Tree and is quite the little social butterfly when things are quiet and she doesn't think you are watching her! A special thanks to volunteer Lori Hinueber who has taken a liking to our shy girl and is now sponsoring her!
