!Back in September of 2003, young mother Violet (born in December of 2002) and her babies were taken in off the Wyoming streets by a family who felt sorry for her, but couldn't keep the 9 month old and her offspring. It was easy enough for us to find homes for her adorable kittens, as they had received lots of TLC from an early age, but poor, frightened Violet didn't fare as well. It has been almost three years now, and day by day we make bits and pieces of progress with her. WE have a very dedicated group of volunteers who make it their goal on a daily basis to slowly and surely let her know we aren't hear to threaten her, but to love her and keep her safe. In fact, Violet feels safest snuggled close to one of her companions, so we most often find her nestled close to another kitty. We are definitely keeping the faith when it comes to Violet - she deserves all the love we can give her!
