Before I begin talking about myself, Carol, my rescuer has something to say. Hello. I'm Carol of Carol's Ferals and Friendlies. Mainly, I do T-N-R (Trap-Neuter-Return). This is where stray and feral cats are humanely trapped, fixed and after a short post surgery rehabilitation, are returned to where they were found. This is a very effective means of feline population control. But as it goes with most things, I have found myself in other aspects of cat rescue. I was rescued by Carol during a TNR mission on the SW side of Grand Rapids. A kind woman named Dorine was feeding me, my brothers and sisters and 16 other cats. My siblings and I had bad colds that got to our eyes and caused us some problems. But Carol nursed us back to health with the help of her good friends Gina and Erica from Focus on Ferals. My sister, brother and I were very shy and scared so Gina, Erica and Carol each took one of us home with them to get us better socialized. My sister Sandy (named after Sandy Duncan who as you know has a glass eye) was adopted first. Then later on Simon was adopted. But I still have yet to find the perfect person to give me a forever home. Can it be you? I hope so. I like living at Erica's house with all her kitties, but I would like to give my love to someone who really needs a special little guy to love in return! In case you are wondering....I was named after Sammy Davis Jr., another famous person with a glass eye. Mine bad eye has healed up greatly since being on medication. It hardly looks funny anymore.
