Tabby - black - Medium - Adult - Male - Cat - Bobby Nevill
Description
Before I begin talking about myself, Carol, my rescuer has something to say. Hello. I'm Carol of Carol's Ferals and Friendlies. Mainly, I do T-N-R (Trap-Neuter-Return). This is where stray and feral cats are humanely trapped, fixed and after a short post surgery rehabilitation, are returned to where they were found. This is a very effective means of feline population control. But as it goes with most things, I have found myself in other aspects of cat rescue. If you are interested in adopting any of my kitties, I would be thrilled to talk to you. I have reasonable adoption fees that include spay/neuter, FIV/FELV testing, shots, flea treatment and de-worming. I would love to hear from your first via email. Please send me a little snipit about you, your family and your other pets. You can reach me at dollmouse@aol.com or by calling 616 560-0555. Thank you for taking an interest in my rescue cats. Have a groovy day ~ Carol. Now for what the individual kitties have to say about themselves. Bobby Nevill has a very special story. And here it is: Back when I first started doing TNR in February of 2006, I was trapping at the Burger King at 68th Street and 131. I managed to trap 8 cats over two months. The third cat I trapped was Bobby the handsome black tabby. Gina Marvin of Focus on Ferals got a call last week about an ear tipped cat that was found lying in the parking lot of the Burger King in Cuttlerville. Knowing that I did the TNR work there, she contacted me. Turns out that Bobby was found lying in the parking lot and was picked up by a good Samaritan and taken to an area Veterinarian. The vets have nursed Bobby back to health but a he has neurological damage due to his injuries. They suspect he was hit by a car. He holds his head crooked and is unable to walk straight. He will not be able to be released back outside. While he was feral at the time I trapped him, he has come a long way since being hospitalized. He is accepting of humans now. This often happens with cats that are feral. Many times once they are in the hands of kind and loving people, they remember that they were once indoor kitties who were just cast out on day. While in the safely of the indoors, they are reminded that we humans aren't so bad after all. Such is the story with Bobby. Now, he needs a home. A special home without dogs and small children. He needs a place where he can live his life in relative safety. Do you have such a home for a special boy? I named Bobby when I was doing my original trapping. You can see from the photos the day I got him in the trap! But folks at the vet where he is staying have named him Nevill after a Harry Potter character. Please contact me first via email at dollmouse@aol.com if you are interested in meeting Bobby Nevill. Special arrangements can be made for you to meet him! Thanks for looking! Carol Manos
