Description
Charismatic CHANCE (born in September of 2000) has quite a story behind him. Back in July a Charlotte gal befriended stray boy Chance, and took him in to her vet's office for a great workup. Lo and behold, charming Chance was found to have FIV (Feline Aids) and therefore this gal could not adopt him, as she had cats of her own at home. So what did she do? She spent almost 800.00 to get him neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and HOUSED for over 2 months until she could find a place for him.. Not one to give up, she searched high and low, posting his info in chat rooms, when our friends at FURRY CRITTERZ Fashions and Giftz stumbled across her plea, and got in touch with me (thanks Kathy Ainsworth). So ... Chance and his rescuer made the trip from the Lansing area and he arrived here safe and sound on September 14th. He is a gorgeous Maine Coon mix with such a nice, tender demeanor! He was introduced to his fellow 'Sid's Kids' on Friday and melded right into the group as if he had always been part of our very special family! We are guesstimating him to be around 4 years old, and truth be told, he couldn't be sweeter! God Bless KIM HISER, his rescuer, for saving his life and giving him a second chance!
