I ask not what you can do for you but what you can do for your computer. You purchased your computer you have it set up just the way you want it. Only to find out that it’s obsolete and out of date. Your computer gets progressively slower and slower and you ponder ways of making it faster. You see the INTEL commercials with Blue Man Group advertising the Pentium 3, 4, and Celeron processor. You ask yourself, “Can I progress and make that great leap and purchase a new computer?” Well you can my friend.
If your computer becomes a capsule of history to your progress it should teach you that you are on your quest for the latest and greatest or you want to keep up with the guy who has the better computer then you. The purchase of a new computer will go ahead whether you would like to admit it or not. It is one of the greatest purchases that you will ever make. No one can expect to be the one to have the latest and greatest of today’s technology. Technology is always moving forward those who started the age of the personal computer revolution had a vision and a dream that there would be a personal computer in every home worldwide. Today my friend that dream is reality. They rode the waves of the first technological revolution and they made a vow to see that it continues into future generations, and it has.
From the days of the apple 2e and to the days of dos, computer technology has jumped many hurdles. There are those who choose not to progress and move forward. Like the laws of nature dictate they will not survive the next wave of the technology revolution. The ones that choose to move forward are the ones who will make progress towards a new revolution. When it is time to get your computer fixed who do you call? Do you call someone who is stuck in the days of apple 2e and dos 1.1? No you call someone who adapts to the latest and greatest technology.
