Description
Buddy is a beautiful soul with very simple needs...he loves to cuddle with his caregivers, he lives for being brushed, going for car rides, being taken on leash walks, or playing with his coveted red rubber ball in a fenced in backyard. Buddy is a loyal friend who wears his heart on his paw. You will be greeted with a gentle wagging tail and soft, vocal "welcome homes"...(in "dog", of course). Buddy would much prefer to be in a household with conscientious, Shepherd loving adults. It appears that cats were not something Buddy was ever introduced to in his early life, so we think it best that he is either the only pet in a household, or perhaps with another female or somewhat submissive medium to large sized male dog. He also appears to be unsettled by small boys, so a home without young children would be best. Currently, in his foster home, he spends his days lounging under hundred year old maples watching the world go by. He loves his foster sister Emma (a rambunctious 2 year old yellow lab), she has taught him to swim in the pond. The two of them look like they are in the filming of the Disney movie "Homeward Bound". It is a joy to watch! He enjoys the simple pleasures of life. He is a magnificent boy who deserves the very best for his "golden years". Won't you please consider being his final forever home? He is up to date with all of his shots, neutered, micro-chipped and has an entire year of heart worm preventative already in his suitcase. He is a ready made, loving companion.
