Selling due to my health issues I'm getting out of the Quarter Horse breeding business. Proven stallion, BIG, GORGEOUS, WELL MANNERED,ATHLETIC, AGILE, pretty mover! Siring great looking foals with pretty heads, pretty movement, versatile,and with athletic ability."Leo" has Pasture bred, or hand breeds,and has been handled by women. He has 28 foals to-date, that reach 14.3-16.2HH at maturity,60% filly's,40% colts. "Leo" sires the color of his foals through the mares lines, and carries the sooty gene. He has black, dark bay, red bay, chestnut, liver chestnut, sooty palomino, grullo, red dun,sorrel,gray,and brown colored foals. "Leo" was trained under saddle as a 4 year old, and did very well. The trainer even took him out trail riding. He's a fast learner, and wants to please!He hasn't been ridden in a few years, so could probably use a re-fresher.He's very much a gentleman when breeding, and is not a biter,and doesn't get rough with the mares. His foals make great cow horses,and have natural cow sense. His GET are being used as barrel horses, cow horses, team penning, heading & healing, jumping, English, reining, having a gun shot off their back, cutting, halter, Western riding, showing, breeding, and pretty much anything anyone wants to do with them. They have SUPER dispositions, not spooky, love to please,and are very fast learners! I'm looking for a 4-ever,good home for "Leo" where he can continue breeding, and maybe be ridden again. He needs a job.
