Hello! Smart Beginnings is a state licensed group (12) daycare home with daycare center qualities. At Smart Beginnings we teach all pre-school requirements; assuring your child will be ready for kindergarten. We provide structured educational learning and play throughout the day. Your child will receive individual attention as well as group learning. I have completed classes covering Health & Nutrition, Guidance & Discipline, Toys & Activities, Safety & Maintenance, Child Behavior, and Daycare Setup & Management. We have also completed courses in CPR & First Aid (Infant, Child, and Adult), “Back” to Sleep, SIDS, and teaching related courses; renewed yearly. Plenty of toys are provided for indoor and outdoor play. Including educational activities, project materials, art supplies, and story hour. Our Backyard is wooded, fenced, safe, and private. We have a wonderful play structure, games for all seasonal outdoor activities, and we study nature through an early learning science program. Each summer we involve the children with planting a garden that they watch and learn from as the plants grow. This makes meals and snack time nutritious and most importantly, fun. Our location is convenient with a circle driveway. Approximately one mile from M-5 Age 6 weeks to 5 years.
